Session extended to table Jain ATR

NEW DELHI, July 24: The budget session of the Lok Sabha is being extended by a day to enable the Government to table the Jain Commission report along with the action taken report.

The two reports will now be placed in the House on July 30, and not July 27 as was originally scheduled. A decision to this effect, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Madan Lal Khurana told reporters this afternoon, was taken last night by the Union Cabinet after consulting Leader of the Opposition Sharad Pawar.
