NEW DELHI, JULY 24: In a bid to spot talent, Sports Authority of India will organise the second Independence Gold Cup Hockey Tournament for boys under-14 years of age.
The first phase of regional and zonal competition would involve two teams per state, which would play on a league basis at SAI regional centres from tomorrow.
Winners and runners-up from each zone would qualify for the final phase, to be held on a league-cum-knockout basis here from August 6 with the final slated for August 13 at the National Stadium.
