CHANDIGARH, July 24 THE Punjab and Haryana High Court today adjourned a bunch of review petitions -- including the one filed by the Chandigarh Administration seeking 90 days' time for filing a special leave petition in the Supreme Court -- with regard to implementation of the High Court directions on traffic regulation.
Justice Swatantar Kumar adjourned the petitions, including those by the Chandigarh Administration and the Association of Schools in UT, to July 27, when the other review petitions would be taken up. The Administration has filed a petition seeking 90 days' time for filing an SLP in the Supreme Court against the HC directions as it felt that 15 days was not enough to implement the large number of directions.
