PUNE, July 24: The counsel for Manju R. Malgude (42), the actress arrested by Khadak police in the Gunvanti Palesha murder case on July 21, on Thursday moved a revision application before additional sessions judge A.A. Inamdar.
PUNE, July 24: The counsel for Manju R. Malgude (42), the actress arrested by Khadak police in the Gunvanti Palesha murder case on July 21, on Thursday moved a revision application before additional sessions judge A.A. Inamdar.
Manju was produced before judicial magistrate (first class) Vijaya Satpute and remanded to police custody till July 27.
The application by lawyer Sureshchandra Bhosale said the police had arrested Manju without adequate evidence proving her involvement in the crime.
Bhosale alleged that inspector in charge of Khadak police station Vishwas Patil had given defamatory information to newspapers after her arrest. Inspector Patil denied that he had given the information.
She was found dead in a lane near Hotel Peacock in Shukrwar Peth on the night of on March 26.
