VADODARA, July 26: The three-member search committee, comprising M S University former pro-vice chancellor Veena Mistry, former Union minister Y K Alagh and Praveen Manyiar of Rajkot, will meet on Monday to decide on the name of the next university vice-chancellor.
VADODARA, July 26: The three-member search committee, comprising M S University former pro-vice chancellor Veena Mistry, former Union minister Y K Alagh and Praveen Manyiar of Rajkot, will meet on Monday to decide on the name of the next university vice-chancellor.
Current Vice-Chancellor Padma Ramchandran's tenure expires in September.
According to university sources, the meeting will be the final one and the nomination for the post will be handed over to the State government for approval.
Applications for the post have been invited from senior university professors. The sources added that three names had already been short-listed for the purpose, and the final name would be send to the government for its nod.
