Akash test-fired

CHANDIPUR-ON-SEA: India on Monday successfully test-fired multi-target surface-to-air missile Akash which can deliver both conventional and nuclear explosives from the interim test range here. Known as the Indian version of USA's Patriot missile, Akash having a range of 25 km is capable of forcing all intruding aircraft to fly only at tree-top level from about 20 km across the border.
