MUMBAI, Aug 4: A rare double hat-trick by Munir Shaikh was the highlight of Saboo Siddik's 8-0 drubbing of Smt P G Garodia (Ghatkopar) in an under-16 IV-H encounter of the Inter-School football league, sponsored by Colgate Palmolive, at the St Xavier's ground, Parel, today morning.Mohammed Ansari and Nomin Nisar were the other goal-getters for Saboo Siddik.
Fatima (Sewri) huffed and puffed before getting the better of Dr Antonio da Silva (Academy) 1-0 in the under-16 IV-F match. The all-important goal was scored by Imad Thakur.
In yet another tie, Seventh Day Adventist trounced Cathedral & John Connon B 8-0 in the under-14 III-D section.
Faizal Ansari (2), Tanvir Shaikh (2), Wasim Ansari, Irfan Shaikh, Mudasar Shaikh and Zaid Ansari were the goal scorers for the winners.
