MUMBAI, August 5: A solitary goal by Prakash Nautiyal in the 73rd minute was good enough for Tipu Sultan Sports Club to upstage Maharashtra State Police (MSP) in a Gulf Oil WIFA Senior Division league match at the Cooperage here.With this win, Tipu Sultan have tallied seven points from six matches, which is on par with the losers.Playing ten matches in the last 20 days appeared to have taken its toll on, MS Police, who appeared jaded on the field. They, however, controlled the game against a young and inexperienced side and in fact, had more scoring opportunities.
Tipu scored the goal against the run of the play. Mid-fielder Imran Khan snatched the ball from MSP defender and put Amin a long ball who swiftly dodged past deep defender.
