NEW DELHI, August 5: A nine-member Indian team, including reigning continental champion Vitender Singh, will participate in the Asian body building competition to be held at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from August 21 to 31.
NEW DELHI, August 5: A nine-member Indian team, including reigning continental champion Vitender Singh, will participate in the Asian body building competition to be held at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from August 21 to 31.
The team, led by coach M.K. Jose and manager Saudanand Gogoi, will leave for Vietnam on August 16, Federation of Indian Games (FIG) general secretary Achint Ganguli said here today.
Last year's Asian title was won by Vitender Singh (JCT), Ganguli said at a special felicitation for Dinesh Singh Aswal, who is first from the capital to represent India at an international body building event.
Indian Team: Dinesh Singh Aswal, Ashok Singh and Bobby Singh (all Railways), Manjit Singh, Lakhbir Singh and Daljit Singh (Punjab Police), V. N.Shaji and M.S. Mohanan (Services) and Vitender Singh (JCT).
