MUMBAI, Aug 17: Three goals from Mansi Surve was good enough for Our Lady of Remedy, Kandivli to beat Jamnabai Narsee, Vile Parle, 4-1 in a girls' Colgate-Palmolive sponsored Inter-schools football tournament, at the MSSA-Castrol Azad Maidan today.
Surve, a regular in the OLR team for some years, exploited the wet conditions of the ground and rather ordinary play by their opponents from Vile Parle. She netted the first, second and fourth goals. Mamta Salian scored the third.
Jamnabai Narsee came back in the second half as Astha Bhandari reduced the margin by scoring one.
