Party may not take Jaya's support: TN Congmen
Though AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalitha on Friday maintained that support to the BJP-led Government was still under review, triggering speculations that the Congress (I) may attempt to form an alternative government with her support, TNCC sources denied that there was any effort on the part of the AICC High Command to establish contact with the AIADMK leadership.

MDMK and PMK step out of "withdrawal" threats
Just two days after AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalitha announced that her party's support to the BJP-led government was "still under review", her key allies, PMK and MDMK today publicly disassociated from the withdrawal threat.

Swamy calls for Jethmalani's dismissal
Janata Party president Dr Subramanian Swamy has demanded the dismissal of Union Minister Ram Jethmalanai from the Ministry of Urban Affairs & Employment (UAEM), for his alleged involvement in a series of corruption scandals. Swamy was dwelling on the Rs 1,000-crore land scam concerning a plot near Delhi, which the minister allegedly denotified for acquisition by a private party.
