VISAKHAPATNAM, Sept. 7: Three persons reportedly succumbed to suspected anthrax in Lakshmipuram and Savaravalli villages in Andhra Pradesh recently. This is the first incidence of the disease in India, which was prevalent in Australia during World War II and was thought to have been eradicated. A medical team has been rushed to the affected area.
