KCF activist nabbed in Moga

MOGA, Sept 24: Moga police claimed to have nabbed Narinder Singh alias Nindi, a Khalistan Commando Force activist, resident of Mahmoodpur, district Jalandhar, yesterday. Narinder is a proclaimed offender in a case registered against him with Nakodar police under Section 307/399 IPC on alleged attempt of murder and robberies and also under TADA.

Giving details, Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Satish Asthana, officiating as SSP Moga, said that the KCF activist was stopped yesterday morning at a naka by a police party headed by CIA Inspector Gurmel Singh.

On interrogation, it was found that he was a proclaimed offender and an activist of KCF who had managed to escape to Germany in 1991 on a fake passport. Police also seized one 12 bore pistol and three live cartridges from his possession.

The interrogation of the KCF activist further revealed that he had returned from Germany about two years back and since then had been residing in a rented house at Moga, where he was trying to reorganise KCF activists.

The scooter recovered from Nindi was also reportedly stolen from Nakodar.
