Aussies complete last rites
Australia needed only 13 minutes and 3.5 overs yesterday to skittle out the last batsman and register their first Test win against Pakistan in 39 years. The visitors might have wrapped up the game on Sunday but bad light stopped play on a day interrupted by heavy rain and gloomy skies.

Sidhu, Siva overlooked for Challenger series
Mohammed Azharuddin has been named captain for the Senior India team while Ajay Jadeja and Saurav Ganguly will lead the India A and B teams respectively for the Challenger Series to be played in Ahmedabad from Oct 15. Navjot Singh Sidhu has not found a berth in any of the squads, raising a question mark on his future in One-Day Internationals.

Churchill's Ghanian imports disappointed with standard
Ghanian footballer Hussaini Osumanu had established himself as an important member of his club side Dawo. At 22, he was very much a regular in the side which ended third in the Ghana first division league last year. Yet, he was missing the adventures of life, like the time when he was in Egypt for six months as a player for a local club there.
