This doctor has an eye for dance & records
An ophthalmologist from Maharashtra is all set to enter record books with her non-stop performance of Kuchipudi from sunrise to sunset tomorrow. The Ahmednagar-based Dr Sudha Kankaria, a practising eye specialist and a trained dancer, will begin her marathon dance at the Sahakar Sabhagraha auditorium from 0625 hrs and end at 1825 hrs.

Just sleeping over some issues of life
It is 11.35 am in the first class ladies compartment of a train headed into town. There are fifteen passengers seated around me. Three of them are college students, filling the compartment with their bright chatter. The remaining twelve appear to be married, working women between the age of 28 and 40. All of them are well-dressed, in colourfully printed saris or salwar khameezes.

Pumped up desires&reality bites!
I could never imagine myself writing this article but then I never thought I would be reading about the death of Flo Jo. Last week, a legend and a myth died. Under mysterious circumstances. The secrecy surrounding her death took me back to 17 years and my tryst with near death.
