CHANDIGARH, Oct 12: Government College for Girls, Sector 11 and MCM DAV College, Sector 36 scored victorious in their respective league matches in the Panjab University Inter-College `A'division women's kho-kho championship at PU Campus here today.GCG-11 beat Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana by one point (8-7) and got the better of GGS College for Women 9-8, in their second outing.
While MCM DAV-36 defeated GGS-26, 23-5 and scored 13-1 victory over KCW, Ludhiana in their second league encounter.
Moga College win
Guru Nanak College, Moga defeated Khalsa College, Garhdiwal, 11-9 to win the Panjab University Inter-College `B' division kho-kho women's championship held at PU Campus today.
YPS in q-finals
Yadavindra Public School, SAS Nagar and St John's High School-26 entered the quarter-finals of the under-14 boys Edmund Rice cricket tournament held at St John's School today.
