Court rejects bail plea of Kokani's father

MUMBAI, October 14: Additional sessions judge A Y Ganu today rejected the bail application of father of fugitive criminal Feroze Kokani, Abdullah Mehmood Sarguru, who was arrested on charges of entering into a conspiracy in connection with his son's escapade from police custody.Sarguru was arrested after his son escaped from jail on May 6 this year. He is reported to have said, ``Job is done,'' while he was standing near the Mazagaon court. On the basis of this statement he was arrested. Copyright © 1998 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
