VADODARA, Oct 14: The Supreme Court has stayed contempt proceedings launched against three Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) by Gujarat High Court for allegedly not following orders on demolition of cabins in Lehripura.Over 300 cabins from Lehripura and Mandvi were demolished last year as part of the process to divide the city into hawking and non-hawking zones under a scheme which was approved by the Supreme Court.
