City of Joy sets a Nobel example
The City of Joy is the city of Nobel Laureates too. For, Calcutta has either been home or the temple of work to at least five Nobel Laureates from diverse fields.
Birds from bitter weather flock together at Chilka
Migratory birds from far off places like Siberia, Iraq, Iran and Central Europe have started arriving in the Nalaban bird sanctuary located inside the vast Chilka lake on the Orissa coast. The influx of the birds had started on October 11 last, according to the state's Chief Wildlife Warden, SK Patnaik.
