MUMBAI, Oct 15: Bhushan Thakur confirmed his top billing to win the men's singles State Ranking Table Tennis title with a 21-15, 21-15, 14-21, 21-15 verdict over the veteran Srinivasan Sriram at the MiG Cricket Club today.
Earlier, Mallika Parekh clinch the women's crown breezing past Radhika Ghatnekar 21-16, 21-9, 21-9 to pocket her 101st title in her six-year-old career.
The 14-year-old Mallika completed the century of titles shortly earlier when she defeated Janhavi Deshpande 21-10, 22-20, 21-7.
Aditya Mahagaonkar, the top seed, got the better of second seed Eric Fernandes in the junior boys final which produced some sparkling play. Mahagaonkar proved the most efficient beating an error-prone Fernandes 21-11 10-21 21-14 21-12.
