MOSCOW, Oct 22: India is planning a US $ one billion investment in the Russian oil sector to ensure crude oil supplies to New Delhi.India could invest up to $ one billion in the near future in the Russian oil and gas sector to ensure stable supplies of hydrocarbons for the domestic market.
Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister V K Ramamurthy is arriving in Moscow today, leading a high-level oil and natural gas delegation to discuss a wide range of issues with Russian Fuel and Energy Minister Sergei Generalov. Ramamurthy will lead the Indian delegation at the fifth meeting of the Joint Working Group on Petroleum and Natural Gas.
