West Asia interim pact signed
Israel and Palestine vowed to implement the interim land-for-peace accord signed on Saturday and carry on the spirit of cooperation to the final round of talks scheduled to begin within 10 days even as radical hardliners from both sides slammed the deal.

US expected to pressurise Pakistan on nuclear pact during Sharif visit
Beleagured Pakistan, with a crisis-ridden economy, is expected to come under severe pressure from the United States to accept a global pact on nuclear test ban and a moratorium on fissile material production during premier Nawaz Sharif's visit to Washington in December.

NATO-led force to vet military postings
The NATO-led Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in Bosnia has told Bosnian authorities that they will henceforth need the consent of the SFOR before they may dismiss or appoint an officer on their military general staff.
