Taylor, Langer steer Australia to commanding position
An unbroken 103-run second wicket partnership between skipper Mark Taylor and Justin Langer yesterday edged Australia closer to their first Test cricket series win in Pakistan for 39 years. Rovai conquers jaded Srinath
Sweden's Federico Rovai won the GVK Satellite tennis tournament in Hyderabad yesterday, defeating top-seed Prahlad Srinath in straight sets 6-4, 7-5. The second-seeded Swede's task was made easier by a bout of fever and muscle cramps which had affected the Srinath's performance from the quarter-finals stage itself.
