Jewish settlers in West Bank protest Wye River accord
Militant Jewish settlers on Sunday blocked several dozen crossroads in the West Bank to protest at the Wye River accords signed between Israel and the Palestinians. Earlier, on Saturday, United States President Bill Clinton appealed for Israelis to support Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Wye River memorandum he signed with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.

Meerut riots: SC pulls up UP Govt

Sharma got passport for Dawood's mother
The Union Home Ministry has decided to set up a probe team consisting of senior CBI and IB officials to look into the Romesh Sharma case. Investigators claim they have clinching evidence that immediately after the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai, Sharma had secured a passport for Dawood's mother Amina Bi within 24 hours.
