Price rise affects BJP, allies too
Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Bannerjee has threatened to quit the coordination committee of the BJP and its allies, if Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee did not convene a meeting of the panel next week to discuss the strategies to deal with the price rise.

Parties try to outdo each other over stirs
Political parties in West Bengal are engaged in a game of one-upmanship on the issue of spiralling prices with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) taking up a novel method to sell onions and potatoes at cheaper rates.

If not BSP, vote for Congress, Kanshi Ram tells supporters
