Three women gangraped, paraded naked in UP village feud
The early morning calm of Haria Ki Garhi was shattered by the screams of three women on October 31. After two hours of gangrape and beatings, the victims -- two sisters and their 60-year-old mother-in-law -- were paraded naked and dragged through the bylanes of the village.

Salt disappears from shops in Ahmedabad, rumours fill the air
Despite the fact that Gujarat produces more than 65 per cent of the country's total salt requirement, people have started panic buying as the branded commodity has started disappearing from grocers' shelves. As if that was not enough, the vanishing trick has forced people to go for non-iodised salt which was available but there was great uncertainty about its continued supply.

Sharma remanded to three days' police custody in Sabharwal case
Metropolitan Magistrate (MM) Dharmesh Sharma has remanded the alleged Dawood frontman Romesh Sharma to three days of police custody in the Sanjay Sabharwal case. Earlier, he was in Crime Branch custody, but now the court has sent him in the custody of the Hauz Khas police station in the South District.
