Microsoft told to redesign Windows 98
Microsoft Corp has been ordered to redesign `Windows 98' and other software that doesn't meet certain programming standards, or stop shipping the products. US District Judge Ronald Whyte ordered Microsoft to alter its products that don't pass Sun Microsystems Inc's compatibility test for JAVA, Sun's programming language.

SEBI tightens vigilance on vanishing companies
As per the announcement made by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to track down vanishing companies, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has begun intense investigation into those companies which have raised funds from the public and vanished.

Indal sells electronic arm for Rs 54 crore
Indian Aluminium Company has sold its 100% shareholding in Indal Electronics for Rs 54 crore to Austria Technologie Systemtechnik AG. Indal, now, has moved out of the printed circuit boards (PCBs) manufacture as a part of its strategy to focus on the core business of aluminium.
