NEW DELHI, November 19: Vinod Kumar of B R Ambedkar College broke his own record by clocking 14 seconds less this time to win the Nike-St Stephen's 3.2 km run with a timining of 9.47 minutes.
Rajpal of Delhi College of Arts and Commerce finished second with a timing of 9.49 minutes. He too bettered his previous record of 10.10 minutes. The third place was captured by Azad Pal of Kirori Mal College with a time of 10.00 minutes.
In the women's section, Sunita of DCAC won the gold along with a gif voucher when swhe clocked 12:34 to better her own record by seven seconds. The silver went to Swaranjeet of Arts Faculty while Geet of IP College claimed the bronze. Swaranjeet timed 12:45 and Geeta clocked 12:57. In the second meet 26 colleges participated. The next races will be held on December 10 and January 10.
