Fatwa to withdraw wards from schools
Intervening in the ongoing controversy over compulsory recitation of Vande Mataram and Sarswati Vandana, the Muslim Personal Law Board has issued a fatwa, asking Muslims to withdraw their children/wards from government-run schools where the order is being imposed.

The much-awaited National Security Council (NSC) was on Thursday formally announced by the Prime Minister's Office, with a three-tier structure that has in-built defects. The NSC, as envisaged in the announcement, is going to be a replication of the government in a different form.
DAP threatens to go the onion way
