Sharma plea: Notice issued to Centre, Delhi
The Delhi High Court today issued notices to the Centre, State Government and the city police chief on a petition of Romesh Sharma seeking removal of police guards from his farm house and residence and the release of his 14 cars seized by the authorities.

Public bonds to generate Rs 300 crore for Godavari-Marathwada Corp
In an attempt to inject some life into the much publicised and criticised Rs 3900 crore Godavari-Marathwada Irrigation Development Corporation, the Chief Minister, Manohar Joshi, has announced that his Government would raise Rs 300 crore for the project by way of public bonds, to be floated in the first week of December.
