The morning after the night before
In the avaricious, greedy, materialistic wasteland of our city, a gesture of chivalry or good breeding sets a man a class apart and therefore an example for the rest of the pack to emulate. The ennui of the spoilt, rich young almost begs it.
Motor rally kicks off nationwide NDA drive
Amitabh Bachchan's potboiler Major Saab may have slightly rumpled the image of National Defence Academy (NDA) but the cadets are not ones to mope over it. Fifteen cadets and four officers of the NDA roared off in eight jeeps which were flagged off from Malabar Hill by Governor Dr P C Alexander at Raj Bhavan this morning.
