Apathy to Asiad heroes shocks sporting greats
India's sporting community was near unanimous in their condemnation of the way in which the country's heroes at the Asian Games were made to endure protracted agony on arrival from Bangkok at Mumbai on Tuesday night.

The Pakistani inquiry into match-fixing in cricket will sit in Australia next month to take evidence from Shane Warne and Mark Waugh.The Australian Cricket Board (ACB) announced today the two Australian Test players, as well as former ACB chairman Alan Crompton, would front the inquiry on January 8.

Rain follows Indian squad
Indian vice-captain Ajay Jadeja is fighting against time to be fit for the second Test against New Zealand at Basin Reserve starting Saturday. Jadeja, who will open the batting with Navjot Sidhu, sprained his right ankle before the abandoned first Test in Dunedin and hasn't trained since.
