Sasikaran, Tejas share lead

JALANDHAR, DEC 27: Former sub-junior champion Beenish Bhatia of Hyderabad suffered a defeat while second seed Neelotpal Das was held to a draw even as top seed Sasikiran shared the lead with six others at the end of the third round of the National Junior chess championship here today.

Reigning champion R Karthik was let off the hook by Rishipal Singh of Hyderabad from a winning position. Karthik managed to scrape through with a draw.
