NEW DELHI, January 1: Vishal Sharma turned out to be the hero for PGDAV College when he came up with a brilliant score of 75 runs to help the side beat Kirori Mal College by nine wickets and enter the semi-finals of the inter-college cricket tournament.Harender Chaudhary and Nitin Malhotra were also the star performers for PGDAV, who with their deadly bowling bundled out their rivals for 175 runs in 43.2 overs. Harender claimed four wickets giving 21 runs while Nitin's tally was four for 34. Sanjeev Chauhan took other two wickets. For KMC, Sunil Yadav was the only successful player today who scored a fine 73 runs.
Chasing the target, PGDAV lost only one wicket on their way to the victory as Vishal Sharma and Sunil Rawat raced to give their side the win. Vishal hit eight boundaries and two sixes en route to his brillaint 75 runs. Vishal was ably supported by Sunil Rawat, who remained not out at 51. The only PGDAV wicket to fall was of Neeraj Chawala who contributed 35 runs before bowing out.

Title for Delhi Police n A fine all-round display by Zakir Hussain and Sanjeev Chugh helped Delhi Police (PCR) beat Maharaja Agarsen Cricket Academy by 53 runs to claim the Jyanti Devi Triangular Series Cricket Tournament.
