Gough's hat-trick climaxes heady day at SCG
Darren Gough took a hat-trick at Sydney yesterday to bowl out Australia for 322 at close of the first day of the fifth Test match in the Ashes series. Mark Waugh (121), alongwith Steve Waugh (96) had rescued Australia from a precarious 52 for three with a 190-run partnership.

Double trouble for Windies
Chanceless centuries from Jacques Kallis and Daryll Cullinan powered South Africa into a commanding position at the close of the first day of the fourth Test against West Indies at Newlands yesterday. The pair shared an unbroken 208-run third wicket partnership to take the home side to 282 for two at the close.
