VADODARA, Jan 3: Following an overwhelming response from the people of the city, the coin exhibition has been extended by another day. The exhibition will now continue till Monday.
Kanti Rana of the Gujarat Sikka Parishad said that the that more than 20 coins collectors and dealers from different parts of the country had come to present their collection.
Since this was the first time that such a rare collection was being displayed, people from different walks of life took special interest in visiting the exhibition, he said.
Rana added that the objective behind the exhibition was to spread an awareness about the country's rich cultural, social and political heritage among the people, including children.
Though the Parishad had been active for the past two decades in the city, it was for the first time it was organising such an exhibition, he said, adding, that earlier they had also been supporting such shows.
