Kala Ghoda to be turned into an art district
Kala Ghoda, home to art galleries, restaurants and educational and cultural institutions, may also become a watering hole for artists to meet and create. The Kala Ghoda Association, comprising various individuals and institutions, has plans to convert the area into an art district.

Presidency college's Eden hostel opens doors for non-Hindus
In a historic move, the governing body of Calcutta's Presidency College which runs the 110-year-old Government Eden Hindu Hostel has decided to allow students of all communities to stay at the hostel.
