Advani orders security for Indian cricketers
A concerned Union Home Minister L K Advani has instructed State Deputy Chief Minister Gopinath Munde to provide adequate security to all members of the Indian cricket team, both personal security as well as at their residences; also to former cricketers and BCCI officials who may be targeted by the Sena.
PM cancels Germany visit as sign of protest
Prime Minister A B Vajpayee has cancelled the German leg of his foreign tour, en route to the G-15 meeting in Jamaica, following the tough line the Bonn government is seen to have taken on attacks against the Christian community in India.
Rajasthan meet: BJP toes VHP line on minorities attack
Targeting the Christians, the BJP state executive's political resolution adopted endorsed and reiterated the views of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on the issue.
