A cosmic manifestation
There is a persistent rumour about town that most Mumbaikars didn't celebrate New Year's Eve in Mumbai, with any ostentation because of the `D' factor. Given as I am to fighting, if the cause is close to my heart, I feel the only fitting reply to threat and intimidation is a firm resistance.
IAF to display its splendour on Jan 26
Thirty one aircraft, including the Sukhoi, MiG-29 and Jaguar fighter planes, will take part in a spectacular fly past planned by the Indian Air Force at the Republic Day parade on January 26 this year.
Exhibition on electronics
Elecrama '99, an exhibition on the electrical and electronic industries will be held in India from January 21 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, NSE complex, Goregaon (east).
