Cong prefers to go it alone in Karnataka, Andhra: Azad
Congress prefers to go it alone in the Assembly polls to Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh scheduled later this year, All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Gulam Nabi Azad said on Monday.

Cong welcomes PM's position on conversions
The Congress welcomed Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee's statement yesterday that the Centre was not in favour of constitutional amendments to prevent religious conversions, adding, that Vajpayee's stress on a national debate on the issue was contradictory.
