Govt declares 18 items of medicine as sub-standard

MUMBAI, January 24: Eighteen medical items have been declared to be of sub-standard quality by the state government's analyst. The state government has called for an immediate stoppage of the manufacture of these drugs. It has also issued directives to pharmacies across the state selling these drugs to recall their stock immediately.

Rolled Bandage RB-29 - C K Gauze Manufacturing Co.

Paracetamol - Bafna Pharmaceuticals.

Newsulf dusting powder - S A Pharmacy.

Paracetamol syrup - Esjeet Pharmaceutical Ltd.

Paracetamol tablets T-1000 - Bafna Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Hydrocortisone sodium injection - Mac Laboratories Ltd.

Synatrim Trimethoprim andSulphamethoxazole suspension - Gardian Pharmaceutical Co.
