Rane sworn in along with jumbo team
Senior Shiv Sena leader Narayan Rane was on Monday sworn in as the 15th Chief Minister of Maharashtra on the lawns of Raj Bhavan. At 47, Rane is the second youngest politician to occupy the coveted post -- Sharad Pawar still holds the record when he took over in '78 at the age of 38.
Sinha for more interest rate cut
Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha said that he would like a further reduction in interest rates, but the decision on timing of further easing was up to the Reserve Bank of India.
