Mohyal meet to begin tomorrow

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, Feb 4: "Emotional Integration and Economic Upliftment" would be the theme of the 49th All India Mohyal Conference to be held on February 6 and 7 at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. The conference is being organised by the General Mohyal Sabha, the apex body of Mohyals.

The Mohyal community is remembered for its contribution to India's freedom struggle and to the Arya Samaj movement. It has the sacrifices of Bhai Mati Dass ji, Bhai Sati Dass ji, Chowdhary Ram Bhaj Dutt, Bhai Balmukand Chhibber, Banda Bairagi and Bhai Parma Nand Chhibber to its name. Punjab Governor B.K.N. Chhibber, who belongs to the Mohyal community, will preside over the conference. The chief guest will be Madhya Pradesh Governor Dr Bhai Mahavir.

"Emotional integration and economic upliftment" was chosen as the theme of the conference as thousands of delegates from all over India and abroad would be participating in the deliberations to chalk out welfare plans for the next millennium, informed the Sabha president, B.D. Bali.
