Punekar's lantern gets mention in the Guinness
Pravin Nayak's lantern has sure managed to light up things for himself and his country -- his team's 38 feet high and 22 feet wide creation has been officially recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records.
My first break -- Aishwarya Rai
Aishwarya Rai may be just 25, but already she has a career many in the world of glamour would envy. Currently Ash is on a real high -- her film Aa Ab Laut Chalen is doing reasonably well. Also, she has just been chosen as the official ambassadress for Longines. And looks like her star is shining on big and bright.
Material dreams
When Lovleen Bains got into the movie business, it definitely was not a part of her life's script. A copy-writer back in 1982, she happened to accompany her husband, a cameraman, on to the sets of Merchant & Ivory's Heat and Dust and Ismail Merchant asked her to stay back and assist with the costumes.
