Goa parties agree on dissolution of House
All the major political parties in Goa have agreed on the dissolution of the Assembly and early elections. "But, should Chief Minister Luizinho Faleiro take the vote of confidence on Monday, there could be a major crisis," say sources.

Congress on Thursday demanded that Central government should disclose the circumstances that led to the sacking of Mohan Guruswamy, advisor to Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha, as he had assailed certain projects and policies pursued by the government.

Hitting back at Janata Dal leader Jaipal Reddy for criticising the Prasar Bharati, the BJP on Thursday said it was no longer a 'prachar bharati' (propaganda agency) as set up by him.
