According to Malabar Hill police, the girl, Pooja Shah, being fed by her grandmother was sitting on the parapet. The window had sliding glasses which were open, and the grill too had been removed for some renovation work, police said. Suddenly, the child lost her balance and fell out of the open window before anyone could move to save her, police said. Police have registered a case of accidental death.
