Bihar -- PM rejects debate, President's Rule revoked
The Central Government on Monday bowed to the ruthless logic of the numbers game and decided to revoke President's Rule in Bihar instead of going in for a losing battle in the Rajya Sabha. The Rabri Devi Government will be reinstated on Tuesday after the official order is issued.
Bhagwat is Govt's new headache now
After embarrassing the VajpayeeGovernment on the Bihar issue, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has decided to go on the offensive. This time the issue is sacking of Naval Staff chief Vishnu Bhagwat. And Sonia apparently doesn't mind joining hands with leaders of the Third Front.
Govt won't stop diesel car production, RS told
The Government has no proposal to either ban or regulate manufacture of diesel cars, even in metropolitan cities, as a means to curb vehicular pollution, the Rajya Sabha was informed on Monday.
