NEW DELHI, MARCH 19: Another cricket nursery ``for the promotion of the game in the Capital'' is shortly coming up at Qutab. To be launched by Subhania coach and Kotla wicket curator Radhey Shyam, in collaboration with Ajmal Khan Coaching Centre and Ramcharan Cricket Club (all affiliated to DDCA), trainees (in the age groups of 7-12, 12-16 and 16-19) will be selected by a panel consisting of Rajender Goel, Hyder Ali, Vijay Yadav, Vinod Gupta, N P Singh and B D Sharma (physical instructor). Located just below the Mahavir Jain temple, opposite Qutab Minar, the Qutab Nursery will conduct trials at 10.30 am on March 21.
Already five green-top wickets and a cemented wicket have been readied at the centre. ``Twenty per cent seats will be reserved for the needy and talented boys, free of charge,'' Radhey Shyam, whose better-known trainees include N P Singh, Durga Prasad, Mohan Chaturvedi, Shankar Saini and Surender Singh (J-K), said here today.
