Bihar bandh turns violent, thousands held
Stray incidents of violence marked the 12-hour Bihar bandh called to press for the resignation of the Rabri Devi Government in the wake of the Jehanabad massacre.

"TN cannot allocate Jaya cases to special judges"
The Centre assailed the Tamil Nadu Government in the Supreme Court for allocating corruption cases against AIADMK supremo J Jayalalitha to three special judges and submitted that by doing so, the State Government ``usurped'' the powers of the Central Government.

Onion traders will be allowed to export soon
