VADODARA, April 11: The city police has summoned for interrogation a Dilli Darwaza, Ahmedabad-based travel agent, who is suspected to have ``arranged'' the immigration of Narsinh D Patel to the United States. Patel was found dead in the Fatehgunj area of the city last week.
DCP (North) P K Velera told Express Newsline that families of several persons whose names were found in Patel's pocket had been contacted over the telephone. However, he said, no one had come forward with any comments on the agents concerned.
Even the relatives of the deceased had been unwilling to provide the police the details of the agent, Velera said.
The DCP said that the police had also written to the Sahar International Airport authorities to inquire if Patel, who landed in Mumbai on April 2, had been carrying any luggage and, if so, what.
